East Van's Mosaic Park
There's this wonderful little park called Mosaic Creek Park about 3 blocks from us. It was a community effort of local people to lay one of the most amazing mosaics EVER!
Even Rian was impressed, and he's only 17.5 months old...
He's a real climber so the rock formations appealed to his sense of adventure!

Rian on his bike!
Well, technically not 'his' bike but in a new snazzy seat on the back of his Dad's bike!
We haven't taken many pics of our friend Mike who has just moved here from the UK but here he is, enjoying all the toys at my Mom's place....
And what is a Saturday AM without some Premiership League Footie (soccer to the rest of us)?! Here is the Vancouver chapter of the Reading FC Fan Club - 1-1 to Manchester United isn't too bad!

The Father & Son Self-Portrait!
... C'mon, everybody does it at some stage in their lives... y'know, holding the camera out, aiming it in the right direction and hoping for the best...
And guess what else we did today?

Family day in the playground!
We spent the morning repainting walls, sanding and varnishing banisters and shelves at my Mom's new house while Rian hung out with his Nanna.
But we managed to all sneak away long enough to have some fun at the local new playground.
Rian loved the teeter-totter on springs!

Rian in the garden...
Our little guy loves to water things!
Rian and his Dad off to a Dougan Day - we noticed in Kelowna that Rian is more comfortable around girls and we wonder if its because our 'co-parent' Pam and her 6 wonderful daughters take such good care of him?!
How could I miss this pic of Rian in Kelowna?
