East Van's Mosaic Park
There's this wonderful little park called Mosaic Creek Park about 3 blocks from us. It was a community effort of local people to lay one of the most amazing mosaics EVER!


Even Rian was impressed, and he's only 17.5 months old...

He's a real climber so the rock formations appealed to his sense of adventure!

We haven't taken many pics of our friend Mike who has just moved here from the UK but here he is, enjoying all the toys at my Mom's place....

Rian and his Nanna! My Mom moved here a few weeks ago to be closer to us... well, closer to Rian! She has a lovely 4-level duplex just 10-houses up the road from us and will be looking after him 2 days a week! They look pretty happy, eh?!

Family day in the playground!

We spent the morning repainting walls, sanding and varnishing banisters and shelves at my Mom's new house while Rian hung out with his Nanna.

But we managed to all sneak away long enough to have some fun at the local new playground.

Rian and his Dad off to a Dougan Day - we noticed in Kelowna that Rian is more comfortable around girls and we wonder if its because our 'co-parent' Pam and her 6 wonderful daughters take such good care of him?!

My long-time friend Mike just moved here to Vancouver and we had a conference in Kelowna to attend.

Pete and Rian came along for the road trip!

The hotel had a great beach and pool for kiddies!
