More hanging out in the backyard!

It doesn't feel like June is around the corner - its been kinda grey and wet here but that hasn't stopped us from playing in the garden some more.

Here's Rian on his little swing - he only started liking it after seeing the Sams like it!

I mean, what's the point of having friends if you can't get them to try out the plastic swingy thingy that your folks have dangled from a dodgy looking tree...

Look ma! No hands!!

We still love the slide however!

Then there's sweet Nova, our beloved dog... or, ole' wasss-her-name....

No tree branch is safe anymore! Guess what Pete now does to de-stress from a long day??

Fun in the garden!

How cute is this new fleece we got for Rian?!?!

Only MEC would think to have the big bubble head hoodie!

Pete got a new 14 ft. tree cutting toy! How happy does this man look?!

Our little cutie!

Sick Rian

Rian was pretty sick a week or so ago - what started as vomitting and diarrhea became lethargy and dehydration.

He stopped eating and drinking, losing 3 pounds from his little body.

We finally took him into the Children's hospital (we live close to the best paediatric hospital in BC, if not Western Canada).

They gave us a syringe and bottle of paedialyte! So simple I still can't believe we didn't think of the syringe!

Our little patient!

Once he was feeling better, he thought he'd put the paper tray on his head!

He is doing MUCH better now and gaining the weight back - he has chubby cheeks again!! Hurrah!

Rian and his Grandparents!

An unfortunately rare occurance in modern days but a few weekends ago, Rian had all of his living grantsparents visiting us in Vancouver!

Here he is with my Dad, my Mom and Pete's Dad.

Rian and his Nanna

... with his Grandpa Bonny

... and his Grandpa Roberts

We had a somewhat late first birthday party!

Hopefully we can do this again sometime soon!

Crawling is slow...

Faster to DRIVE!

Rian's Birthday continues!

Pressies from Auntie Sue and a scary book from Grandpa and Sylvia!

And looking good in his Thomas the Tank Engine b-day shirt (under the sweater - not quite summer here yet!)

Rian's Grandpa Bonny is visiting from the UK!

The 3 Bonnys...

We took a day trip to the Sunshine Coast - beautiful, eh?
